Marco Neri is a composer, sound creator/producer, and mentor who is Mexico-born and based in Canada. He examines sound from an interdisciplinary perspective with the help of new technologies. His portfolio includes music for staging music, such as theatre, avant-garde performances, and contemporary dance. His work also includes scores for films. He recently started exploring sound installations and video game scoring.

In the past, he founded a music label, Ajusco Recording Studio, where he participated as a director to bring to life more than 50 recordings of concert music by young musicians. In addition, he co-founded the Onepanko Youth Orchestra in Mexico City, participating as a composer and producer.

As a mentor at the Victoria Conservatory of Music, Marco encourages a creative approach to sound, always driven by curiosity and the desire for free expression. His mentees have the opportunity to showcase their ideas in concert halls, as well as in other mediums such as films, video games, and musical stage productions.

My professional goal is to create impactful and dynamic music for film, video games, and staging arts. I am passionate about seeking artistic collaborations that push the boundaries of creativity, unrestricted by cultural limits. I strive to contribute to projects that allow me to explore the diverse and dynamic intersections of music and visual arts and to create immersive and evocative experiences for audiences across various cultural backgrounds.
